2018 has already been a big year for everyone at Attitude, and right now we're in our busiest time so far! We're rehearsing two productions, preparing for our upcoming youth workshops and holding regular classes. Feeling overwhelmed? Here's a rundown of what we've been up to/what's coming up:
RAW Melbourne
On the 19th April, the ADC Impact Ensemble performed as part of RAW Melbourne's event, MAGNIFY. They performed a beautiful number to Liza Anne's "I'm Tired, You're Lonely", choreographed by ADC Director Xavier McGettigan.

ADC's Impact Ensemble
The ADC Impact Ensemble is an exciting new group based in Geelong, it runs on a semi-professional/profit-share system, where the profits from ticket sales of their major works are spread amongst the performers.
The ensemble consists of Lucy Abramovitch, AJ Armstrong, Sarah Glynne, Elyssa Mahr, Victoria Hadfield, Caitlin Mathieson, Rebecca Nutter, Abbey O'Donnell, Madeline Pratt and Ellen Robinson. We can't wait for you to see this talented bunch perform together on stage.
Open Contemporary Classes
Starting in 2017, our Casual Advanced Contemporary classes have grown enormously. We love dancing with everyone each week, building skills, learning new dances and most of all: having a lot of fun!
One of the benefits of being a casual class, is that it works around your timetable. You won't be in trouble if you have other commitments for two weeks in a row, nor will you be left behind! It's designed to pick up everyone's skills where they last left them off.
Have a look at this routine from one of our classes this year:
Join us every Sunday at 6pm in Breakwater.

This Winter holidays, dancers aged 10-18 are invited to join us for 5 amazing days of dance with ADC Director Xavier McGettigan and ADC Impact Ensemble member Elyssa Mahr. The students then have the opportunity to perform in our latest dance theatre production: (dis)connect.
(dis)connect
ADC's latest dance theatre production features an adult cast and the students from our Winter Holiday Dance Workshops. It will be performed July 13th and 14th at the beautiful Shenton Performing Arts Centre in East Geelong.

‘Transience’ features three original works by choreographers Xavier McGettigan and Stacey Carmichael, ‘Retroaction’, ‘A Brief Encounter’ and ‘The Visitor’. Athletic skill, storytelling and emotion combine on the stage in this exciting debut for the ADC Impact Ensemble.
We're excited to return to both the Shenton Performing Arts Centre (Aug 31 & Sep 1) and Chapel Off Chapel (Sep 22 & 23) in Prahran, Melbourne.
