We’ve had a busy two months here at ADC, we’ve finally been filming our production of Fantasy and we had a wonderful week at the Geelong Arts Centre developing our latest work, Perfect Pairing thanks to the Creative Engine Jump Start grant we received from GAC.
During the last few weeks we have been filming the first act of Fantasy, The Dream, our awesome 80s showcase. Our amazing singers have been joining us each Sunday to film the work song by song.
However, last week, we filmed the ENTIRETY of The Hero’s Journey, our epic contemporary dance adventure at the amazing performance space at Platform Arts. It was especially exciting because we got to have a small audience of friends and family, which was such a thrill after not having an audience for almost two years.
The full-length, fully-edited videos of both The Dream and The Hero’s Journey will be available on the ADC website in 2023.
We also had a wonderful week trialling the concept of Perfect Pairing, a wine tasting evening but instead of pairing wine with food, we’re pairing wine with dance. It was a roaring success, so keep an eye out for Perfect Pairing in 2023!
